Pinspired Project #3

Today's project is the first recipe of the series.

My kids love pizza! While they do get their fair share of frozen pizzas, this version is probably their favorite. They love it when they see this loaf of bread sitting on the counter because they can usually predict what's for dinner!

Walmart's Italian bread loaves are delicious and only cost $1! I use them for these pizzas and during the summer I would buy them and make big sub sandwiches to take to the pool. At my store, they are in the basket of a 3 wheeled bike placed directly in front of the deli/produce section.

Ready to know how to make this super simple and inexpensive decadence?

Let's get to the nitty gritty.

Necessary Ingredients:
French/Italian Loaf Bread (I buy the $1 loaves that greet me as I walk into Walmart.)
Store Bought Pizza/Spaghetti Sauce
Shredded Mozzarella (about 12 oz)
Toppings of your choice (I do half cheese and half pepperoni.)

Here's what you do:
Start by cutting your loaf into two pretty equal pieces.

Spread Pizza/Spaghetti Sauce all over your two pieces of bread.
Generously cover the bread with your toppings and cheese. I have just cheese on my top piece and pepperoni under the cheese on the bottom.

Bake at 350 for 8-10 minutes or until you feel your cheese is adequately melted.

This gets devoured at my house! Before long I will have to buy 2 loaves for one meal.

They always approve! Little bit was napping while they were eating of she would've been covered in red sauce, too.
