I have been planning my blogging comeback for quite some time. I intended to come back on my 37th birthday a few weeks ago, but the chaos of the last 2 weeks of school ate that plan up!
I don't even know why, other than sheer accident, I stumbled onto the old blog here and started reading some old posts. And now I feel inspired to just add a post to get the old fingers typing again.
Today marks what I am officially titling the beginning of summer. School ended Thursday for the kids and I consider Friday the trial run of summer days. It wasn't a pretty trial run so today I am looking forward to a do over. Several new systems are in place that will hopefully lessen the chaos of long summer days here at our house. I will share more about those as we go along. Today is planned out almost to the minute with our first movie of the summer, JB's first swim lesson and our first night of VBS. I am exhausted just thinking about it and hoping I don't forget some important detail! I am not sure when or what I will feed the little Wade children. I am sure it won't be all that nutritious, but they won't go hungry. They would never let that happen.
