31 Days: Present Tense Happenings

It's 11:51 so I guess if I lived in El Paso, I would still have over an hour before this post is late for the 13th day of the 31 Days. I was going to do F6's birthday post today, but since I'm not into looking through pictures at this time of night, I am going to share what this SAHM of 3 kids 6 and under did today. Part of my rationale for doing this post is to remind myself that even though the inside of my house makes me look like a lazy slob today, I did have quite a productive day so here's my day in the life post - mainly for myself!

6:15ish - Start hitting snooze button until F4 shows up in my room telling me he wants to play quietly in his room

6:45 - Wake boys up for breakfast and to get ready for school

7:00 - Chaos begins as the little girl emerges from her room in full fury

7:08 - Rush all out the door to the car to get boys to school

7:30 - Return home, pull some weeds and start Mickey Mouse Clubhouse for F2 so I could shower

8:55 - Rush out door to take F2 to MDO after coming inside from the car at least 2x looking for my keys and her dolly (I think I need one of these signs on the door to the garage)

9:15 - Drop F2 off at MDO - relief settles in

9:30 - Volunteer at school book fair

11:00 - Head to the Dentist for a 2nd opinion (note: I've not been to the dentist in 6 years and in 2 weeks I've seen 2 different dentists and have yet to have any actual work done)

1:05 - Leave Dentist, head to The Vista office to drop off Birthday cards and pick up more blank cards to start working on my next list

1:30 - Leave The Vista office, heading toward MDO to pick up F2 - phone call from Loverboy

1:50 - Park in Lowe's Parking lot talking to Loverboy

2:10 - Pick up F2 from MDO

3:00 - Pick up boys from bus stop

3:30 - Plant new fall plants in flower bed and pull weeds

5:00 - Prep dinner for all 

6:00 - Leave for swim lessons

7:20 - Return from swim lessons, bathe all little people

7:45 - Story time from the pits of Hades! It's the worst 20 minutes of every day right now.

8:00 - Put kids in bed

8:30 - Leave F2's room hoping she's asleep and will stay in her room

8:45 - Consider turning all the lights off and going to bed, but alas I didn't because I had to empty the dishwasher, clean the kitchen up a little bit, very little bit, and pack lunch for F4

9:00 - Mix batter for these delicious cookies to take to school tomorrow

9:10 - Put batter in fridge to cool, start painting kitchen

10:20 - Place first pan of cookies in oven

11:30 - Finish painting for the night, pack baked cookies in baggies

11:45 - Sit down and think about going to bed

See, dirty house, that's why you're still dirty (sticks out tongue as laundry piles, crumbs under kitchen table and random out of place items mock me and try to convince me that I will never get caught up on the housework around here).
