First Day of School

Today was the long awaited, much anticipated first day of school! I'm sure I was probably more excited about school starting than the boys were. F4 is going to PreK this year at the same school that F6 is started 1st grade today. I did feel a little emotional after I watched F6 stop at F4's door to make sure he got to his class. It was a proud mommy moment. As immature as F6 can be, I know he'll always stick up for his little brother! 

As far as I can tell they both had really good days. F4 keeps talking about going on a treasure hunt in his classroom and going to the library to hear a book about a horse. F6 never divulges much information about anything. He said his teacher is nice, but she had to be mean to one of his friends who was in his kindergarten class because he wasn't doing the right thing!

F4 wasn't sure about being awake at such an early hour!

I thoroughly enjoyed my time alone today! I don't feel like I really got a lot accomplished, but it was nice to enjoy the quiet of the house and not have to constantly tell the little tornadoes to quit touching each other!
