26 Days in and I have walked by the door to what was once my favorite room in my house, but has become my Simplifying/Organizing Nemesis, and have thought to myself that this room must get some love during the 31 Days thing. So here it is getting its much deserved Simplifying spotlight!
When we moved into this house, we loved having this extra bedroom. We wanted this to be a guest room of sorts, but I also wanted a space to sew and craft. Fast forward 3 years and things have changed a bit. This room now has a crib tucked into it for our 4th little precious child. Having her sleep in here throws all kinds of curve balls! Even attempting to get it cleaned up is a challenge because Harper needs to sleep!
Not only am I going to work on Simplifying this room, I am also working on a plan to move some furniture around so that I can have access to the printer and a few other items while she sleeps. I am working to define the purpose of this room. Establishing the purpose for this room will help me make the tough decisions of what will stay and what will go. Part of that process is pin pointing where my crafting/project focus needs to be. As much as I would like to think otherwise, I don't have the time, energy or resources to do every project I have pinned on Pinterest!
